It’s a good day for Burnley fans as the club announced manager Sean Dyche has signed a contract extension on Thursday.
The new four-year deal sees Dyche stay at Turf Moor until 2025.
“Dyche is the longest-serving manager in the Premier League and has committed his long-term future to the club, alongside assistant manager Ian Woan,” read the press release.
“The longest-serving manager in the Premier League will be extending a successful nine-year spell at the helm which has seen two promotions from the Championship, two top-half Premier League finishes and qualification for Europe for the first time in 51 years.”
“It is nice to be able to get this deal completed and now look towards the future of this football club, and its constant evolution,” Dyche said on the deal.
“I have a strong affinity with the area and our supporters after so many years here and I look forward to putting in the hard work needed to keep the club moving in the right direction.”
Burnley currently sit 18th in the Premier League table.
