Glasgow City, Celtic and Rangers all recorded clear wins in the Scottish Women’s Premier League but fourth-placed Hearts were held.

Glasgow City 8-1 Partick Thistle Celtic 3-0 Aberdeen Dundee United 0-4 Rangers Hamilton Academical 0-1 Spartans Hibernian 7-0 Glasgow Women Motherwell 1-1 Hearts

Glasgow City thrashed Partick 8-1 to maintain a three-point lead over Celtic at the top. Priscilla Chinchilla bagged a brace, while there was one each for Claire Walsh, Linda Motlhalo, Kinga Kozak, Lisa Forrest, Lauren Davidson and Megan Foley, Rachel Donaldson with a consolation for Thistle.

Celtic were 3-0 winners over Aberdeen, Chloe Craig making the breakthrough just before half-time, Claire O’Riordan and Natalie Ross netting afterwards.

Rangers remained a point behind Celtic when going one goal better at Dundee United. Kayla McCoy scored twice,  Tessel Middag and Kirsty Howat adding one apiece.

Hearts had to settle for a draw at Motherwell, Monica Forsyth with their equaliser after Lauren Doran-Barr struck first.

Hibernian gained ground on Hearts when sinking Glasgow Women 7-0. There were doubles from Rosie Livingstone and Rachael Boyle, singles by Katie Lockwood, Lia Tweedie and Michaela McAlonie.

Spartans won by the only goal away to Hamilton, Louise Mason getting the decider that sent them sixth.

Boroughmuir Thistle 2-3 Queen’s Park Gartcairn 5-2 East Fife Kilmarnock 0-1 Montrose Stirling University 2-1 St.Johnstone

Montrose got the only goal at Kilmarnock through Lauren Gordon to preserve their three-point advantage over Gartcairn, who defeated East Fife 5-2 aided by a couple from Megan Wands.

Queen’s Park are fifth after victory by the odd goal in five at Boroughmuir, Caitlin McKee with the decisive third goal.

Stirling University edged St.Johnstone 2-1 with Shana Macphail netting both their goals.
