Hearts extended their lead in fourth place in the Scottish Women’s Premier League, Aberdeen moved five points clear of the relegation play-off spot.

Glasgow Women 1-3 Aberdeen Partick Thistle 0-1 Hearts Hamilton Academical 1-4 Motherwell Dundee United 0-1 Spartans Rangers v Celtic (Mon 27th, 7.30pm – live on Sky Sports)

Aberdeen are up to ninth and five points clear of the relegation play-off spot following a 3-1 result at Glasgow Women, where Bayley Hutchison got a double and Eilidh Shore their other goal.

Motherwell’s victory at local rivals Hamilton featured a Tiree Burchill hat-trick and Carla Boyce penalty. Becky Galbraith converted a late penalty for Spartans and Dundee United were down to ten with a 90th-minute red card, Hearts also won by the only goal at Partick Thistle.

East Fife 2-1 Queen’s Park Montrose 3-3 Boroughmuir Thistle St.Johnstone 0-0 Kilmarnock Stirling University 2-1 Gartcairn

Montrose moved ten points clear at the top despite being held by Boroughmuir Thistle.

Kilmarnock climbed above Gartcairn into second on goal-difference, with a draw at St.Johnstone.

There were victories for the bottom two, including East Fife’s first of the season, Carrie McGorm got both goals for Stirling University in defeating Gartcairn.
