AFC Bournemouth boss Scott Parker has told the Bournemouth Echo that he remains confident over the prospect of the club adding further to their existing squad this month.
So far the Cherries have already been busy in the transfer window, signing both James Hill and Ethan Laird from Fleetwood Town and Manchester United on both permanent and loan deals.
However it does still seem likely that more additions could be on the horizon, with bringing in some more attaining players said to be one of the main priorities on the South Coast at present.
Speaking recently, Parker confirmed that he remains confident of seeing further new faces come through the door at the Vitality Stadium, as he stated the following:
“I’m pretty confident. I’m hoping. We’re trying to do some things.
“In saying that, it is a difficult window. It’s really tough, we’ve found that.”

Parker also confirmed that a new attacking midfielder was something that he was looking into, whilst he also acknowledged that his side have lost their threats in wide areas with the losses of both David Brooks and Junior Stanislas.
Meanwhile the Cherries will be back in Sky Bet Championship action this weekend as they play host to Hull City.
The Verdict
Bournemouth have already shown that they can operate well in the transfer window with the signings of Hill and Liard and it appears they won’t be stopping there with regards to bringing in new faces.
They are in clear need of attacking reinforcements, so it will be interesting to see which markets they look in for those additions.
Parker has tended to bring in players from other English sides, however he may well see the foreign market as something of a good hunting ground.
Whoever comes in will need to have an instant impact if they are to keep a place in the starting eleven.
