Ajax were held to a disappointing draw against Go Ahead Eagles in the weekend’s Eredivisie action.
Davy Klaasen had given the hosts the lead on the stroke of half-time but, despite dominating the game and the stats, were pegged back in the 78th minute but manager Alfred Schreuder isn’t reading too much into it.
“It wasn’t a very good game for us, but I didn’t feel that Go Ahead was pushing,” said Schreuder after the match.
“In the front we were too static and too we tried to be too intricate [but] a 1-1 draw isn’t a fair reflection of the game.
“Am I getting nervous [about Napoli]? Why should I be nervous? I think we should play better, that’s what we’re looking at.”
Ajax sit in second place in the Eredivisie, one point behind AZ Alkmaar, as they host the current Serie A leaders in Champions League action on Tuesday.
