Newcastle United clashed heads with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 32nd minute when Fabian Schar got his name on the scoresheet. Schar doubled Newcastle’s advantage just four minutes later as Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

The Tyneside club found themselves 3-0 up after Alex Moreno scored an unfortunate own goal in the 52nd minute. Ollie Watkins scored a consolation goal for the home team in the 71st minute as Newcastle secured a brilliant 3-1 win at Villa Park.
