According to Sport Bild, Schalke midfielder Assan Ouédraogo is unconvinced of a move to Bayern Munich in the summer due to a lack of opportunity.
Ouédraogo and his family believe that there is a lack of opportunity for the midfielder to develop at Bayern due to how many big players there are in the team as well as the constant pressure surrounding the club. Bayern had already submitted an official bid for the 17-year-old earlier in the month.
The previous transfer of Jann-Fiete Arp from Hamburg to Bayern is an example that has put Ouédraogo off as the striker only made one appearance in the DFB Pokal before joining Holstein Kiel after a year at the club.
A move to RB Leipzig or Eintracht Frankfurt is seen as more realistic for the 17-year-old. Both clubs have a track record of helping players to reach their potential. In the summer, Ouédraogo has a release clause in his contract that becomes valid worth €15m.
