Miron Muslic has parted ways with Plymouth Argyle to become the new head coach of Schalke 04 in Germany’s 2. Bundesliga.
Muslic arrived at Home Park in January, stepping in after Wayne Rooney’s exit with the club rooted to the bottom of the Championship.

During his time in charge, the 42-year-old oversaw 23 matches, including a memorable FA Cup triumph over Liverpool.
Despite a spirited attempt to turn things around, Muslic couldn’t prevent relegation, with Argyle slipping into Sky Bet League One on the final day of the campaign.
He now takes over at Schalke, who ended their season 14th in the German second tier.
