SC Cambuur have announced the signing of Thijs Jansen on a three-year contract. The 22-year-old goalkeeper swaps Feyenoord for the Dutch second tier and Cambuur. Transfermarkt is reporting the fee to be in the region of just €100k. The goalkeeper spent last season on loan in the second tier with De Graafschap and will compete with Daan Reiziger and Brett Minnema for the starting spot. Of the three, Reziger is the oldest at just 23.

Jansen spent most of his youth playing within the Feyenoord academy setup, with a brief spell at Groningen U19. He never made a first team appearance for Feyenoord, with most of his appearances coming for the U21 side. During the 2022/2023 season he played 35 games for TOP Oss in the Dutch second tier, keeping seven clean sheets. For De Graafschap, he played 25 games and kept eight clean sheets.
