Saudi Arabian giants Al Nassr have reportedly offered to sign Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on an initial six month loan with an obligation to buy.
That’s according to well-sourced CBS journalist James Benge, who has claimed that a proposal from Al Nassr was submitted to the Gunners on Tuesday.
The Riyadh-based side would take Aubameyang on a six month loan until the end of the campaign, where they would then be obliged to sign the striker for €8m.
Aubameyang was stripped of the Arsenal captaincy last month for what the club claimed were multiple breaches of discipline.
The striker then joined Gabon for the African Cup of Nations but has since returned following scans that found ‘heart lesions’ after recovering from Covid.
Additionally, he has endured a difficult season in north London, scoring just four goals in 14 Premier League appearances.
