According to a report from El Mundo, the Saudi Arabian league is prepared to lure the legendary trio of Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos next season by offering them a lucrative contract.

The report points out how Saudi Arabia is planning further strengthen its local footballing league by luring all the legendary players across Europe. The project began when Cristiano Ronaldo was signed by Al Nassr earlier this year.

The league have now set its sights on PSG superstar Ramos, along with a couple of Real Madrid legends in Benzema and Modric.

The league have offered them a bumper two-year contract worth €30 million per year for each of the three players, totaling to an amount of €60 million. They have also offered them tax exemptions, meaning the players will not have to pay a single penny of taxes from the income they make in the Saudi Arabian league.

The contracts with the three players were made through their representatives in recent weeks. All of them have been given the chance to join the Saudi Arabian clubs after the end of their contracts at their respective clubs.

Ramos’ contract at PSG expires at the end of the season while Modric and Benzema, too, have their contracts at Real Madrid running out in the summer. All three players have vowed to continue talks with the Saudi entity in the coming months.
