Barcelona have been riding on the stellar form of Robert Lewandowski in the last few months, with the forward emerging as one of the club’s top performers.

Lewandowski’s return to form has made things more difficult for Barcelona as they look to make a final decision on the Pole’s future at Camp Nou.

Lewandowski has no shortage of suitors either, with the forward recently receiving an offer from a Saudi Arabian giant.

€100 million offer for Lewandowski

According to Mundo Deportivo (h/t FCB World), an unnamed Saudi club has offered the Barcelona superstar a whopping salary of €100 million per season.

This comes on the back of the recent uncertainty over Lewandowski’s future. As Barcelona prepare for a squad overhaul in the coming summer, the Pole is among the players in contention to leave the club.

This is not the first time Lewandowski has been courted by Saudi Arabian clubs. The former Bayern Munich star was also eyed by several Saudi giants last summer, but the move did not materialise.

Lewandowski wants to stay

Despite the staggering offer from Saudi Arabia, however, it appears Lewandowski does not want to leave Barcelona just yet.

At the age of 35, Lewandowski might be in the final phase of his career, but he still has a contract at Barça until 2026.

With Barcelona ready to embark on a new journey next season, it seems Lewandowski wants to remain a part of the team and lead an otherwise inexperienced attacking lineup.

However, it must be noted that Lewandowski is one of the highest-paid players in La Liga, which does weigh strongly on the club’s balance sheets.

At the same time, Barcelona might have other avenues for sales, with the club recently receiving a €100 million offer for Raphinha.
