Lamine Yamal has established himself as the face of this new Barcelona team under Hansi Flick and has quickly risen to the top to become one of the best players across the globe, despite being only 17 years old.

With more than 30 goal involvements in the ongoing season, the teenage La Masia prodigy has been leading the Catalans’ charge for a historic treble from the front and his meteoric rise has not gone unnoticed.

PSG already tried to sign the 2024 Golden Boy winner with a €200 million+ offer last year and clubs from the Premier League have been keeping track of Lamine’s progress as well.

Saudi Arabia also want Lamine Yamal

Saudi Arabia’s push to lure football’s biggest names continues, and its latest target is none other than Barcelona’s brightest young talent, Lamine Yamal, according to Fichajes.

Lamine’s explosive one-on-one ability and vision have made him a top priority for the Saudi project, which seeks both sporting prestige and global attention.

In what would be a historic move, a €400 million offer is being prepared to tempt Barça into parting with its most promising player.

The figure, which would be a world-record transfer fee, underlines the Saudi Pro League’s ambition to make a global statement by signing the 17-year-old sensation.

Barcelona not listening to offers

Despite the extraordinary bid, Barcelona have no intention of entertaining the idea. The club views Yamal as a cornerstone of its future – on and off the pitch.

The interest from Saudi Arabia arrives just as the Barça board is looking to further secure the young forward’s long-term commitment.

There is a set plan to renew his contract the moment he turns 18 years old in the summer and Lamine, for his part, has made it clear on multiple occasions that he wants to stay at Barcelona for his entire career.

So, Saudi Arabia’s efforts to try and lure the La Masia jewel will be met with huge disappointment.
