Inter’s Serie A match against Cremonese next weekend will be key in determining whether the team’s shock loss to Empoli was merely a temporary bump in the road, or the first sign of a real crisis.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908, who argue that the Nerazzurri’s trip to Cremona will be vital for the team to show that they can immediately bounce back from the setback of a surprise loss to Empoli.

Inter will know that despite Cremonese’s place in the table, the Lombards will not give them an easy match.

The newly-promoted side are looking to pick up points wherever they can under new head coach Davide Ballardini, and have managed to eliminate Napoli from the Coppa Italia last week before drawing away to Bologna in the league last week.

After having been caught cold by Empoli yesterday, the Nerazzurri will be feeling the pressure themselves.

Inter will be without Milan Skriniar and Nicolo Barella for Saturday’s clash with Cremonese, as both will be suspended.

A win could at least see the team start to get back on track after being derailed against Empoli yesterday, but if the Nerazzurri are to take anything other than three points their misery could really start to be deepened.
