Sassuolo seem to have pushed the brakes on a potential departure of Italian international winger Domenico Berardi, putting a move to Juventus on hold for the time being.
Sportmediaset reports, via TuttoJuve, that the Nerroverdi are in no rush to offload the 29 year-old attacking-minded player as they await for the right offer from the Bianconeri and would like to find an ideal replacement for the star player prior to reaching an agreement regarding the sale of Berardi.
As it stands, Juventus are short of players out-wide on the right-hand side following the departure of veteran wing-back Juan Cuadrado as the Colombian international has joined Inter on a free transfer after having spent eight seasons in Turin.
Consequently, the Old Lady have identified Domenico Berardi as the ideal candidate, with the 29 year-old determined to part ways with Sassuolo in order to feature at top club.
However, with Sassuolo making it very difficult for Juventus to acquire their primary target, the Bianconeri continue their pursuit for Spezia wing-back Emil Holm.
