Sassuolo duo Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi could end up costing more than Inter had initially hoped this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the striker and midfielder are two of Inter’s primary targets for the summer ahead. Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali recently explained that €65 million may not be enough to prize the two youngsters away.
Part of the reason why the Sassuolo CEO may be altering his valuation of the players is that more and more clubs are becoming interested in other Sassuolo players, meaning the club must choose who to sell at what price and who to keep.
Juventus are interested in Giacomo Raspadori, AC Milan in Domeico Berardi, and Lazio in Maxime Lopez.
Inter are still aiming for one or two loans with an obligation to make the moves permanent. Players like Andrea Pinamonti could be used in the deals.
