The first group of names on track to play for England at Euro 2022 have been announced on Tuesday.
Sarina Wiegman’s provisional squad is made up of an initial 28 players before being cut down.
Jill Scott has been included as she aims to return to full fitness in time for the competition but Jordan Nobbs will miss out with a knee issue.
The squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Mary Earps, Hannah Hampton, Sandy Maciver, Ellie Roebuck
Defenders: Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Jess Carter, Niamh Charles, Rachel Daly, Alex Greenwood, Steph Houghton, Demi Stokes, Lotte Wubben-Moy
Midfielders: Fran Kirby, Jill Scott, Lucy Staniforth, Georgia Stanway, Ella Toone, Keira Walsh, Leah Williamson, Katie Zelem
Forwards: Beth England, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly, Beth Mead, Nikita Parris, Alessia Russo, Ellen White
The final 23-player group will be announced in mid-June.
