Sardar Azmoun with a chance to make first start for Roma in coming weeks

Sardar Azmoun is likely to see his minutes be increased by Roma manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho, in fact, is said to be extremely pleased with the Iranian striker’s contribution in his limited playing time so far this season.

His appearances off the bench in the games against Monza, Lecce, Udinese and Sassuolo always resulted in the Giallorossi improving their form and collecting all three points to some degree thanks to Azmoun’s presence on the pitch.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Azmoun will continue to come off the bench for the time being but could soon find his way into the team’s starting line-up for the first time since joining Roma in the summer as Mourinho’s men face a busy and challenging December and January schedule.
