🗣 Santos Laguna manager Guillermo Almada responds to Chivas links

Santos Laguna manager Guillermo Almada spoke at his press conference prior to the game against Pachuca, where he responded to Chivas’ alleged interest.

Almada has been one of many names connected to the open position and he failed to rule out a switch, though he claims Chivas have not been in contact.

“Any coach would like to coach Chivas. Who wouldn’t like to manage a big team?” he said.

“I haven’t talked to my agent for a long time and there hasn’t been any sort of approach with me.

“I am flattered that such an important team is interested in our work and that of the group that accompanies me.

“We are very grateful, but today we are focused on our product on the pitch.”
