Santos FC confirmed on Monday that striker Kaio Jorge has completed a move to Juventus.
Despite multiple clubs being interested in the 19-year-old, Juventus offered the best deal according to the official statement from Santos.
“Juventus reached the conditions we presented and which we believe were the best at that time for the Club, given the scenario we found,” said Santos FC president Andres Rueda.
“Good luck to Kaio Jorge, another boy from the village that we’re going to hope to follow his path well.”
While in Brazil, Jorge scored 17 goals in 84 senior appearances.
Additional reports say the teenager will arrive in Italy within the next few days.
