Santiago Solari wants to keep Isco at Real Madrid | OneFootball

Isco may well still have a future at Real Madrid under manager Santiago Solari.

The talented midfielder has not started a LaLiga match since the Argentine took charge in October and has been linked with a January move away.

However, with Los Blancos suffering from a few injuries in the squad, Solari insists Isco will be needed.

“Every player here has to be committed, dedicated and keep working with hope and excitement; they are all fundamental to us,” Solari told reporters ahead of Real’s clash with Villarreal.

“Isco has given us a lot of joy and he has to keep doing that.

“He’s a magnificent footballer and, now that we have lost Marcos Llorente, Javi Sanchez and Mariano, we’re going to need everyone.”

The player himself insists he wants to remain at the Bernabéu and said last week: “I’m not thinking about leaving in the winter market. I’m very happy, my goal is to win many titles at Real Madrid.”

Real are currently fourth in the LaLiga table, eight points behind Barcelona, taking on the Yellow Submarine on Thursday before hosting Real Sociedad on Sunday.
