Santiago Baños, América’s sporting director, expressed his annoyance after the Concacaf Champions League clash against Olimpia of Honduras where Jesús López was seriously injured.

Now, Baños admitted that he has considered removing América from the tournament since, in the absence of VAR, this type of injury can continue to occur.
