SANTI GIMENEZ WINS THE GOLD CUP WITH MEXICO

Mexico have won once again. The 28th edition of the Gold Cup, a competition involving all the nations from North and Central America, has again been won by "el Tricolor", repeating their 2023 success. In the final against the USA in Houston, Mexico fought back after Richards' opener through Jiménez and Álvarez's goals. Complete joy for Santiago Gimenez, who came on in the second half, winning another trophy for his country after the CONCACAF Nations League just last March. After a few days of deserved rest, Santi will join the rest of his teammates to begin their preparation for next season.
