Santi Cazorla almost certainly falls into the underrated baller category, with the Spanish maestro not getting anywhere near as many headlines as he ought to have during his time with Arsenal.

After a six-year stay in North London, he returned to Villarreal until 2020, where he left for Al Sadd where he still plays today at 37-years-old.

Whilst out in Qatar, he still shows off just how talented he is and how his technical ability is unmatched across the globe, with him being one of the only true two footed players.

He helped his side to a 4-0 victory over Al Sailiya in the Ooredoo Cup, scoring the second goal of the contest with a free kick just 15 minutes from time.

Cazorla actually came close much earlier in the tie with a left footed strike from distance, rattling the post with a ferocious strike which had the ‘keeper beaten all ends up.

The free kick he did convert was taken with his right foot, with the goalkeeper making a hash of it, but it still just shows how good the former Arsenal man is, that he can take a set piece as well as that on either foot, and was just whiskers away from a brace.

Back in 2016 when lighting up the Premier League, Cazorla famously stepped up to take a corner with his right foot, before being instructed to switch angle and take it with his left foot.

The Spanish midfielders obliged and famously took the set-piece on his ‘weaker’ side, although it feels harsh to suggest he has a weaker foot.

It’s safe to say that he is arguably one of the most two-footed players we’ve ever seen and you can see why with the ability he possesses with both feet.

In the past, Cazorla has admitted that he is so capable with either foot because when he was younger, his preferred right foot was out of action when he hurt his ankle, so he focussed on his left peg a lot more and it came naturally to him.

He has admitted that he works on it still to this day to ensure that his level doesn’t drop in terms of his two-footedness, and it’s safe to say after the recent highlights that he certainly hasn’t seen any drop-off in ability.
