Sampdoria Could Sign Ex-Real Madrid & PSG Forward Jese Ahead Of Serie A Clash With Inter Milan, Italian Broadcaster Reports | OneFootball

Sampdoria are hoping to sign 29-year-old former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese in time for Monday’s Serie A clash with Inter.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Blucerchiati are in talks to sign the Spaniard on a free transfer, and that he could well be in their squad in time for next week’s match against the Nerazzurri.

Sampdoria are in search of transfer reinforcements in their bid to remain in Serie A, from their current situation mired in the relegation zone.

Whilst the transfer window is currently closed, the Ligurians can still negotiate with players who are available as free agents.

According to SportItalia, former Real and PSG man Jese is a player who Sampdoria are in talks with, as his contract with Turkish side Akaragucu was terminated by mutual consent last month.

Apart from Real and PSG, the Spaniard has also played for the likes of Las Palmas, Stoke City, Sporting CP, and Real Betis in the past.
