Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2021.
Khedira joined the Bianconeri from Real Madrid in 2015 and the German international has so far made 113 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals along the way.
He has played more minutes (8882 in all competitions) than any other Juve player over the last three seasons and the 31-year-old scored the club’s first goal of the new season away at Chievo.
“I just extended my contract at Juventus until 2021,” wrote Khedira, via his official Twitter account.
“Since my first day I’ve had a special feeling and it quickly felt like home here. I’m very proud to be a part of the great history of the club and of the Juventus family. Let’s continue to make black and white history.”
Khedira’s current deal was due to expire in June 2019 but he has now extended for a further two years.
