Sam Quirk has signed a new contract with Everton.

Quirk has penned a new one-year deal with the club.

The 20-year-old boyhood Blue who joined the club's Academy at the age of 11, was thrilled to put pen to paper on a contract that keeps him at Finch Farm until 2023.

Quirk told Evertontv: "“It's an amazing feeling for me, especially being a Blue. I'm delighted to be able to extend my time here. I've supported this club since I was a kid. It's a dream to play for Everton. The atmosphere around the club is so positive. Everyone wants to work together and progress.

“I've taken each age group as it comes, working hard with each step and I'm looking to continue that. It's a massive confidence boost having this new contract so it's about keeping that going and pushing on. The season has just finished but I'm already buzzing for the next. I just can't wait to get back in and get going again."
