After a few days of reported interest, América will officially announce Puebla left-back Salvador Reyes as their first signing of the summer in the coming days.
That’s according to Record journalist David Medrano, who claims that the negotiations between the two sides are completed.
The 23-year-old should fit well anywhere in Santiago Solari’s system, as the player is very versatile, deployed in six different positions for Puebla over the last year.
Over the last two seasons, Reyes featured as a left midfielder (13 times), left-back (10 times), left-winger (five times), defensive midfielder (three times), right-winger (three times), and as a number 10 (one time).
The former Monarcas youth product featured a total of 45 times for Puebla since his arrival, starting all 17 games this season and helping his side reach the Liguilla semi-finals.
