Southampton bring in forward Beth Lumsden from Oxford United ahead of the 2022/23 Barclays Women’s Championship season.
Lumsden made 33 appearances Oxford last season, scoring an impressive 27 goals as the U’s finished second to the Saints in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division.
She also brings Championship experience, having played at that level for both Charlton Athletic and Millwall Lionesses.
Manager Marieanne Spacey-Cale told southamptonfc.com: “Beth is going to bring a different element coming forwards. She’s a striker who can play in behind, she can come and receive to feet.
“She’s direct and she likes to take players on. She’s got all of the elements of a striker that you want and that will give us a different dimension going forward. She’s really excited to be here.”
