Saelemaekers spoke to DAZN: “Today was a difficult game but we also showed, with only ten men, that we have the mentality to continue this fight to the end. Udinese have a very physical game, but it’s understandable: they need points and have to play like this. We were concentrating until the end and it’s important. The goal? I said to myself: “Kick it towards the back post”, the goalkeeper didn’t see the ball coming and I scored, I am happy. Today, however, the team is the important thing, we need to focus on the coming games. The fans were incredible, as always, with their tifo. They are important for us, they follow us in every game and today, they push us in difficult moments. We try to repay what they give us on the pitch”.
