Alexis Saelemaekers spoke following the game: “Today, there was a special atmosphere at the Dall’Ara: the whole city was behind us and you could see it. It got a bit complicated in the second half when we dropped tempo but it was important to keep playing and not concede. My goal? I saw the space and took my chance, it went well, I am happy. Last year at AC Milan, I didn’t play regularly, I have worked a lot with Bologna staff and I want to thank them because today I feel 100%. I am also happy for Lykogiannis: he works hard and showed his quality today. Thiago Motta understands football, you see he was a great player, he passes on his experience and is an incredible coach.
