Roma wide-man Alexis Saelemaekers was among the standouts in Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Lecce.
After missing over two months of action due to an ankle fracture, the Belgian made his presence felt against Marco Giampaolo’s side—opening the scoring early in the first half after he connected on a delivery from Stephan El Shaarawy.
In the aftermath of the game, Saelemaekers wrote on Instagram a thank you message to the fans.
“What a team! Big emotion scoring my first goal in front of our fans in this historic stadium! Daje.”
