Sadio Mané returns to Bayern Munich training | OneFootball

Sadio Mané has returned to training at Bayern Munich and is now in a race against time to be fit enough to feature in the club’s Champions League game against PSG in February, according to Kerry Hau at Sport1.

Mané is roughly three weeks away from making his competitive comeback. The first leg away in Paris is on February 14th. The game could possibly come too early for the Senegalese international. What’s more likely, is the forward making his return the following weekend away at Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Julian Nagelsmann and his staff will not risk playing Mané too soon and would rather wait longer than three weeks to ensure that the 30-year-old is fully fit and ready to go.

It was reported in November last year that Mané would miss the World Cup and be absent for several months having undergone surgery on his right fibula.

Since his move from Liverpool for an initial €32m, Mané has scored 11 and created four in 23 games across all competitions for Bayern Munich.
