Tottenham have confirmed that wing-back Ryan Sessegnon has undergone surgery for a hamstring injury sustained in pre-season training.
The club have revealed that Sessegnon has previously dealt with hamstring issues, and the surgery is seen as a permanent solution to the recurring injury.

The 23-year-old will not take part in any of Spurs’ pre-season tour, but with a fresh start for the club under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
Tottenham kick off the 2023/24 campaign in a showdown with Brentford in just over a month.
