Rangers head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst has confirmed that winger Ryan Kent will be in the squad for the crucial Champions League clash with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

The Gers go into Tuesday’s game 2-0 down from the first leg with their hopes of reaching Champions League group stage hanging in the balance.

But the Scottish Premiership club have at least been boosted by the return of Kent.

The 25-year-old missed the first leg as well as Saturday’s 2-0 win over Kilmarnock through injury but the Dutchman confirmed that they will assess his fitness on Tuesday before deciding whether he will start.

Zambian striker Fashion Sakala has also been included in the squad for the meeting with the Belgian side.
