The Mirror exclusively report that Fraser is willing to quit Bournemouth this summer, despite his original plan to see out the remainder of his contract. Bournemouth have already seemingly given up on an extension, with no contract talks planned, so the Scottish international will either leave this summer for a fee or the next on a free.
The winger wants to play for a big six club, and Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested, though the Gunners appear to be the side most heavily on his case.
Fraser has seven league goals this season, but his biggest contribution is on the creative side. The 25-year-old has 13 assists, and the numbers behind that figure suggest it’s no accident. The Premier League have Fraser at the top of their ‘big chances created’ tally with 24, nine ahead of his closest competitor, Eden Hazard.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s best effort comes from Sead Kolasinac, with 10 big chances created this campaign. The Gunners could certainly use some help making chances in wide areas.
The Mirror says Fraser is hoping a club will try to tempt Bournemouth with a ‘huge fee’, though they don’t include any suggestion of what that fee might be. Arsenal aren’t exactly going to have huge amounts to spend this summer though, so that may well be a problem. We’ll see.
