For Ryan Bennett, it is the small things in the dressing room which makes Wolves a big hit.
In their first season back in the Premier League last year, Nuno Espírito Santo’s men took the division by storm.
They showed no signs of being daunted by their new surroundings, picking up a seventh place finish and European football next season.
While Bennett admitted that there isn’t a great deal of shouting among the group, their togetherness has played a big part for the Midlanders.
“It is the tightest squad I’ve ever been involved in and the most gifted one too,” said Bennett, quoted by the Express and Star.
“We’re probably not blessed with a lot of vocal players but Conor [Coady] comes in and holds it together, he’s very vocal.
“John Ruddy’s very vocal too and even though he hasn’t been playing as much this season, he’s always vocal in the dressing room.
“At half-time in games or at the end, he’s always there to pick us back up. It is the little things like that and the togetherness in the squad.”
The former Norwich City man enjoyed a standout campaign at Molineux last year, playing in all but four of Wolves’ Premier League fixtures.
