RWDM join Bologna in looking into signing Orlando City striker | OneFootball

According to LDH, RWDM are looking at signing Duncan McGuire in the January transfer window. The 22-year-old American forward is currently at Orlando City, where he scored 13 goals in 29 games, as well as providing three assists. Despite signing an incredible 17 players in the summer, the Brussels based side are still in need of more players. Many that have come in are already deemed surplus to requirements and will be offloaded in January.

However, despite all the incomings, the injury to star striker Mickaël Biron means that the side are in desperate need of a forward who can play alongside Makhtar Gueye, another of the summer arrivals. The 26-year-old former Oostende forward has a solid six goals in 15 games so far this season. Yet Biron was already on three in nine when he suffered his injury. The idea had been to partner the two together, and in many ways Gueye has struggled to be as impactful without another striker like Biron alongside him.

RWDM are not the only side interested in the young American forward. Serie A side Bologna are also looking into the possibility of bringing the forward to Europe in January.
