The Russia vs Hungary UEFA Nations League match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Sbornaya hosts the Magyars at Lev Yashin Stadium this Wednesday, October 14, at 11:45 a.m. Pacific.
Russia is coming off a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Turkey at home in the competition as a goal by Anton Miranchuk helped secure the point. Miranchuk has scored in Russia’s last two Nations League matches as the attacking midfielder is a key player to watch in this match.
It will be interesting to see if Russian manager Stanislav Cherchesov makes any changes to his lineup as Valencia star Denis Cheryshev did not start the game against Turkey. Sbornaya has a well-balanced team, but the main player to watch is team captain and goalscorer Artem Dzyuba, who has the ability to make a difference on the pitch.
Hungary is coming off an impressive 1-0 away win against Serbia as Norbert Konyves scored the game-winner in that match. The Magyars are on a two-game winning streak in all competitions also picking up a vital 3-1 win against Bulgaria in the EURO qualifiers.
Hungary’s lone loss in the Nations League so far is against Russia as Stanislav Cherchesov’s men picked up a 3-2 win in Budapest. This match has the potential to be a very exciting clash once again, especially with Hungary’s three-man backline formation.
