Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is keeping the door open to signing a new deal.

Rudiger's current contract will expire at the end of the season, leaving him free to negotiate pre-contract terms with foreign teams from January 1. Rudiger is open to extending his stay, but has been open to seeing what else is on offer.

Sport1 via Le 10 Sport says Chelsea's opening offer was rejected by the player's camp, with Rudiger's agents deeming it insulting.

However, the stopper has insisted his priority remains staying with Chelsea, where he's happy playing for manager Thomas Tuchel.

But the Germany international isn't short of rival offers, with the likes of Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich watching developments.

With Chelsea, the 28 year-old is now entering his fourth season. At Stamford Bridge, Rudiger has made 154 appearances, scoring seven goals. This season, the Champions League winner has made ten appearances for the Blues.
