Remember when Paul Pogba went head-to-head against his brother, Florentin, during Manchester United’s Europa League clash against Saint-Etienne in February 2017?

Roy Keane certainly does.

While the vast majority thoroughly enjoyed seeing Paul and Florentin’s brotherly love over the course of the evening at Old Trafford, Keane was having none of it.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a hat-trick to inspire United to a 3-0 victory but the night belonged to the Pogba brothers.

Their mother Yeo, brother Mathias, and the rest of the Pogba family also took centre stage on the night, dressed in their half-and-half shirts in the VIP seats.

Paul and Florentin embraced in the tunnel before walking out onto the pitch together. They also shook hands - in their own unique way - when the latter went off injured with 10 minutes left on the clock.

Florentin went back onto the pitch at full-time to share the moment with his brother and these scenes warmed even the coldest of hearts.

Still, Keane wasn’t impressed. The former United captain’s reaction to the Pogbas’ brotherly love was priceless.

Asked if such scenes between brothers during a football match bothered him, Keane replied bluntly on ITV: “Yes.

"The boy, Pogba, he's a bit of a free spirit, a bit of a character,” the former United skipper was quoted as saying by The Mirror. “But I think it was a little bit over the top tonight - before the game and at half-time.

"They've spoken more tonight than I have to any of my brothers [Denis, Pat and Johnson] in the last five years.

"It's all a bit strange. I think when the game started they were focused on the game.

"But all this stuff before and after the game, [it's] a lot of nonsense - but that's the modern player, I'm afraid."

Let’s be honest: this is why we all can’t help but love Roy Keane.

The man is a true one-off who sees life differently to most and is never afraid to express his opinions on air.
