Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has warned that Wilfried Zaha will not be sold this summer despite consistent links of a switch to Tottenham.
The Ivory Coast international was one of the Eagles star performers last term – his nine goals and five assists leading the south London club to Premier League safety.
There have since been strong rumours that Mauricio Pochettino’s men could make a swoop for the 25-year-old during this window.
However, that has been rebuffed by the veteran tactician, who insists that Zaha will remain at Selhurst Park for the foreseeable future.
“What people seem to forget with Wilf [Zaha] is he has got a four-year contract,” Hodgson told football.london.
“There is speculation every year around [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo too.
“He is our player for the next four years and the club has got no interest or desire to sell him.”
