Falaye Sacko's own-goal put PSG ahead shortly after Kylian Mbappé saw his spot kick saved by Jonas Omlin. In-form star Neymar added two more for the Parisians (43' & 51') before Wahbi Khazri pulled one back for the visitors seven-minutes later.

"We scored five goals and we could have scored more," PSG coach Christophe Galtier admitted after seeing his side maintain their 100 percent start to the season.

"It's a good sign for what's ahead. The two goals we conceded were not good but our goalkeeper and the defenders had a good game. Obviously there are grumbles on the defensive side when we concede goals. That was due to slackness coming from a lapse in physicality, but overall we're happy with this win to have scored five goals."

Lees-Melou stunner denies Marseille

A rocket from Pierre Lees-Melou earned Brest a point at home to Marseille.

Nuno Tavares scored his second goal in successive games to fire OM in front (38'). But Marseille could do nothing about Lees-Melou's 25-yard screamer on the hour to earn Brest a well-deserved point.

"The problem is that we thought the game was over and in Ligue 1, which is a good Championship, all matches are difficult, especially away from home. The result is a fair one. We'll take the point and move on.

Ten-man Monaco salvage point

Monaco ended a difficult week with a 1-1 draw against Rennes at the Stade Louis II.

Monaco were dumped out of the Champions League by PSV Eindhoven in midweek and matters took a turn for the worse when Youssouf Fofana was sent-off (15').

Substitute Jérémie Bela rounded off the scoring for Clermont (77') who responded in perfect fashion to their opening day drubbing by PSG.
