"I'm very satisfied with the win," said Christophe Galtier after following up last weekend's Trophée des Champions victory with his first league win as PSG coach.
"Winning the game and scoring five goals is important, as is not conceding any chances and maintaining high levels throughout, even when the gaps were getting larger. I know that I have a very talented team but they need to play as a team, and that needs to happen over the entirety of a match, and then throughout the season.
Diatta magic lifts Monaco
A superb volley from Krépin Diatta set Monaco on their way to a 2-1 win at Strasbourg.
The Senegalese winger fired home two-minutes before the interval to put the visitors ahead. Sofiane Diop added a second for Les Monégasques (53') before Habib Diallo reduced the arrears for Strasbourg (65').
