Cristiano Ronaldo gave a standout performance on Saturday as Al-Nassr beat Al-Hilal to win the Arab Club Champions Cup.

The Portuguese scored a brace to win his first trophy in Saudi Arabia since joining the club from Manchester United in January.

The blockbuster clash at the King Fahd Stadium saw Al-Hilal take the lead in the sixth minute of the second half through Michael.

To add to the woes, Al-Nassr were reduced to ten men after Abdulelah Al-Amri received his marching orders in the 71st minute.

But Ronaldo inspired a big comeback by getting on the end of a low cross from Sultan Al-Ghannam to equalise and take the game to extra time.

The 38-year-old produced another moment of brilliance in the first half of extra time as he pounced on a rebound off the crossbar and nodded home their second.

Al-Nassr held on to claim a spectacular win at the King Fahd Stadium, but their night was almost overshadowed by a late injury to the Portugal international.

The experienced striker went down clutching his thigh and left the game on a stretcher in the 115th minute.

However, he was later seen celebrating with his team on winning the Arab Club Champions Cup trophy.

Ronaldo has been in top form this season, scoring six goals in six matches.

Luis Castro’s side will hope his injury is a minor one and that he will soon be able to return for the upcoming Saudi Pro League matches.
