Who are the biggest earners in the Premier League? And how much do they get paid?

To answer the latter plainly – a hell of a lot. But you already knew that.

It’s no well kept secret that football’s elite are paid vast fortunes for their on-pitch talents.

Ever since the emergence of mega-money TV deals and corporate partners ready to drop tens of millions on getting their name associated with a particular club or player, money has been the name of the game in football.

Although things went to a whole new level this past summer when Paris Saint-Germain awarded Kylian Mbappe a staggering contract worth £1,478,249-a-week.

In all seriousness, no footballer should be on that type of money, it’s lunacy.

But PSG don’t just own the highest earner in the sport, they actually own the top three…

Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr come in at number two and three respectively, with the Frenchman’s teammates both on roughly £1 million-a-week also.

Now, those figures dwarf their closest Premier League challengers by some margin, but that’s not to say that clubs in England’s top-flight don’t pay out a pretty penny too.

So, there you have it, the Premier League’s highest earners for 2022/2023.

It’s no surprise to see Ronaldo occupying the number one spot with his wage of more than half a million per week.

However, we do also have plenty of new signings pushing the top echelons with Haaland, Sterling, Casemiro, Koulibaly, Jesus and Lingard all making the cut thanks to contracts they signed this summer with their new clubs.
