Real Valladolid have reportedly struck an agreement to bring Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano to La Liga.
The 23-year-old is coming off an encouraging loan experience with Brest. He scored four goals and provided as many assists to help the club secure a historic qualification to the UEFA Champions League.
Hence, the French side has been vigorously trying to acquire the player’s services on a permanent basis.
On the other hand, Inter have made it clear that Satriano doesn’t have a place in Simone Inzaghi’s plans for the upcoming campaign.
And yet, the Uruguayan has been unwilling to make his return to Brest. As reported earlier, the striker has been holding out for a move to La Liga, as he fancies a Spanish experience.
In the end, Satriano’s wish could come true, as Valladolid have emerged to the scene.
The club is famous for its affiliation with Inter Milan’s former Brazilian striker Ronaldo. The iconic star is the majority owner of the La Liga side.
According to Relevo via FcInterNews, Valladolid have already an agreement in hand to bring Satriano to Spain.
Nevertheless, the Spanish club considers the Montevideo native a Plan B for their primary target Jaunmi Latasa. The 23-year-old is a Real Madrid striker who rose to prominence last season while on loan at Getafe.
But as the source notes, the Spaniard made some hefty salary demands, thus complicating his arrival at Valladolid.
Thus, the Pucela could turn their attention towards the more affordable Satriano who would pounce on the opportunity to join Ronaldo’s club.
The Uruguay international has been on Inter’s books since 2020. However, he never had his breakthrough with the senior team. He had two separate spells at Brest as well as a loan stint at Empoli.
