Kylian Mbappe temporarily put an end to speculation about his future when he signed a new deal at Paris Saint-Germian in May.
The Frenchman let his contract run down and he was heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
But Mbappe ultimately decided to stay and extended his stay with PSG.
Details of the contract that Mbappe signed with the club have now emerged - and it's just crazy.
According to Le Parisien via Get French Football News, Mbappe is set to a earn a gross salary of €630m across three years at PSG.
Mbappe tripled his salary to €6m a month (€2.7m after tax). He agreed a signing on bonus of €180m, which is payable over three instalments, while he'll still get the full sum even if he leaves the club.
The Frenchman will also receive a loyalty bonus of €70m at the end of the summer should he stay on, increasing by €10m for every season he remains at the club.
The figures truly are remarkable.
But is the contract he signed the largest in football history?
Le Parisian have named the seven players to have signed the largest contracts in the history of the sport and you can view their findings below...
7. Paul Pogba | Manchester United | €113m over six years (2016-2022)
6. Gareth Bale | Real Madrid | €178m over six years (2016-2022)
5. Cristiano Ronaldo | Juventus | €220m over four years (2018-2022)
4. Cristiano Ronaldo | Real Madrid | €220m over five years (2016-2021)
3. Neymar | Paris Saint-Germain | €267m over six years (2017-2023)
2. Lionel Messi | Barcelona | €555m over four years (2017-2021)
1. Kylian Mbappe | Paris Saint-Germain | €630m over three years (2022-2025)
Mbappe's contract given to him in the summer is the largest in football history by far.
It eclipses Messi's Barcelona contract, which still saw him earn over half a billion over four years.
Ronaldo features twice, while Neymar, Bale and Pogba also make the list.
Mbappe may not reach the end of his contract, though.
Many outlets, including the Guardian, reported earlier this month that Mbappe is unhappy over false promises and has asked to leave the club.
Whether that comes to fruition remains to be seen.
