It’s 1998 and Ronaldo is unplayable.
Just 22, the Brazilian had already won the Ballon d’Or the previous year after winning the Copa del Rey and Cup Winners’ Cup with Barcelona.
A £19.5m move to Inter had seen him move for a world record fee for the second time and he justified it, netting 34 times in 47 appearances in his first season in Milan.
But he saved his best performance for the Uefa Cup final.
Lighting up the game with his quick feet and blistering pace, he combined the two with cool in front of goal to score the third in a 3-0 win.
If anyone puts in half as good a display on Friday night, we’re in for a treat.
