Virgil van Dijk has millions of fans the world over for the way he performs at centre-half and it appears some of the footballing greats are big fans of his as well.

He's established himself as the best defender in the world since arriving at Liverpool from Southampton, with him helping the Reds win the Premier League and Champions League in recent years.

His bounce back from his ACL injury has been impressive this season, too, and Ronaldinho no less has sent him a message on social media singing his praises:
